Meentheena is a proposed Conservation Park - staying here is a "privilege" and "not a right".  Our members have put in countless hours maintaining and building facilities and infrastructure within the confines of the Department of Environment and Conservation regulations.  Please help us continue to utilise and respect this privilege.

BE SELF SUFFICIENT:

The nearest shops and fuel are 75 kiometres away at Marble Bar.  Opening times may be erratic.  Drinking water is available at the Main Camp.  Take it in - Take it out rules apply for all rubbish.  Firewood may not be collected on site, however a supply is available at Main Camp site (see Camp Host).  There is ample "side of the road" timber available (especially driving east on the main road)
